Prince’s Story

When we met Prince in 2014, he had already spent 32 years trapped in chronic addiction. For over a decade, he begged on the streets of Lagos to fund his habit, moving from place to place with no stability and no dignity left to protect. For years, he tried to get help, holding onto hope that it might one day arrive.

When the opportunity finally came, Prince was admitted into the House of Refuge program. Today, his life looks nothing like it once did. He is now a husband, father and a pastor; living proof that change is possible when someone is given a real chance.

His journey reflects a simple belief: when the opportunity for transformation is created, lives can truly be rebuilt.
