House Of Refuge

Addiction Recovery & Reintegration | Drug Rehabilitation Centre in Nigeria

Our Story

House of Refuge is a drug rehabilitation and resource center dedicated to helping people break free from drug and alcohol dependence. Since opening in Lagos in 2006, it has offered a safe path to healing and restoration. Our new facility in the Lekki area of Lagos is set to open in Q1 2026, expanding our ability to support even more individuals on their journey to recovery.

At the House of Refuge, we understand that drug and alcohol recovery is not a ‘one size fits all’ process. That’s why we provide a comprehensive, world-class, evidence-based, and holistic treatment program for drug and alcohol-dependent individuals in Nigeria, including detoxification, medical treatment, follow-up, counselling, psychotherapy, and more.

What sets us apart is our integration of spiritual guidance and pastoral care, ensuring that healing addresses not just the body and mind, but also the soul. Our programs are tailored to deliver client-specific solutions in an intensively therapeutic and highly supportive environment.

I spent over three decades trapped in addiction, with more than 10 years on the streets of Lagos begging just to survive. I had lost my stability, my dignity, and almost my hope. But deep down, I kept believing that help would come. Today, my story is a testament that no matter how long the struggle, recovery is possible when you're given a real chance.
