TOLANI’S STORY

Tolani was known on the streets as “Tolani Danger.” Come rain or shine, she slept wherever night found her, her body worn down by drugs and days without rest. There was no home to return to and no safe place to hide from the violence that surrounded her. Addiction ruled her life.

Her turning point came through an encounter with Pastor Tony Rapu. What followed was not just rescue but a hard road back to herself. She went through detoxification, counselling and treatment, battling withdrawal, fear and years of trauma. Piece by piece, the grip of the streets began to loosen.

She was later moved to Genesis House, a safe haven with rules, routines, structure and accountability. Surrounded by guidance, discipline and genuine care, she slowly rebuilt her life and learned lifelong skills. Today, Tolani’s life tells a different story. Her journey stands as a powerful testimony that no one is beyond redemption and that even the most shattered lives can be restored.
